American Muslim Youth Send Season’s Greetings
Nation’s oldest Muslim youth group wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday season
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) sends its warm seasons greetings and wishes for happy holidays to those celebrating across the nation. In particular, Muslim youth pray their Jewish and Christian neighbors have a peaceful and enjoyable Hannukah and Christmas. As children across the world continue to suffer through the pains of war and persecution, AMYA finds solace with the freedoms granted in this great nation. Last year, members of the AMYA gave out 2,000 holiday gifts to neighbors around its 70 chapters nationwide. This year, AMYA is distributing 4,000 gifts.
Dr. Bilal Rana, President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, said, “As Muslims, it is so critical for us to respect all faiths and ensure their security and safety during this holiday season. As ISIS calls for violence against other faith groups, our Muslim youth are prepared to stand guard for the safety of churches and synagogues.”
As we reflect on this past year, AMYA feels truly blessed to have the support of its neighbors and looks forward to working together in the New Year.
